The World

This is the largest private residential ship at 664 feet, and includes 165 individual homes. YSA DESIGN designed the original ship in 2002, and then we were fortunate to be part of the refurbishment during dry dock 2016.

Following through from the original design intent, we opened up the Marina, completely reconfiguring it and adding an inner foldable glass wall aft for a spectacular view and closeness to the ocean. New seating in the Coloseo with comfort in focus. New finishes in the Conference rooms and new custom furniture fitting for new technology was installed. A specific Pilates room was created with space for the equipment needed in a sunny space. The Beauty Parlor also got new finishes. The Bali Beds aft on deck 12 was redesigned and lifted up to give a balance between privacy and view. With the flexibility it was designed with it can be a sun pad during the day and a stargazing bed at night. To give more room for outdoor exercise the portside putting green had to give way for a flooring that caters better to trx, yoga etc.
